Family Portraits in Fenwick Island
Fenwick Island has a quieter feel than a lot of beach towns, and that is part of what makes it so special. Families come here for the slower pace, the wide beaches, and the chance to actually relax. It is one of my favorite places for family photos because it feels easy and unforced.
Photographing families in Fenwick gives us room to breathe. The beach is not overly crowded, so there is space for kids to move around, play, and just be themselves. We are not rushing or working around a packed shoreline. That makes it much easier to create photos that feel genuine.
The light here is also beautiful, especially later in the day. Between the open beach and the softer evening light, Fenwick has a calm backdrop that works really well for natural family portraits.
For a lot of families, Fenwick Island is tied to the memories they make here year after year. Maybe it is mornings on the beach, ice cream after dinner, or time spent by the water together.
